Wow, talk about sculpture meats furniture design! This is the Doodle Table by Front Design of Sweden. I adore how this fabulous table looks like its artist is drawing the piece right off its edges into the ground that supports it. Such a wonderfully creative piece that I would die to see in colors like gloss neon pink or fluorescent yellow!

I love when designers treat fabrics like architectural planes that transcend our idea of the typical folds and textures of fabric. This is Chatty by Radka Sirkova and Anna Tuskova of Prague, Czech Republic. Comfort and very fine materials are what give these pieces a luxurious and rich look.

Meet the Big Bunch by Gidon Bing. This minimalist cluster of warm bowl shaped fixtures create a wonderful honeycomb effect of molecule like arrangement. There is something in the undertone of this fixture that goes beyond the aesthetics & speaks to a larger idea that the medium through which light communicates can have a voice, not just the light itself. If you believe this.. than this fixture is screaming to be heard and not just seen.
